Mimi at her surprise 80th birthday party!
Mimi broke her hip on Sunday, and due to some medication issues, they were finally able to do a replacement for her hip today. It was scheduled for 1 PM, and they finally started around 6:45 PM, due to lots of delays.
We're thankful that God has been with her every step of the way, and that He saw fit to bring her through surgery well. We just spoke with the doctor, and we should be able to see her in about an hour.
If you would, please pray for her as she comes out of surgery and begins to recover. She is a special lady, and I have a feeling it's going to be hard to keep her down! :)
